A global day of ocean celebration and collaboration for a better future!
A healthy world ocean is critical to our survival. Every year, World Oceans Day provides a unique opportunity to honor, help protect and conserve our world’s shared ocean.
World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration and collaboration for a better future.
The theme of this year is about preventing plastic pollution and encouraging concrete solutions for a healthier ocean.
At Diana Aqua, we are keen on celebrating this day by acting at different levels:
- raising awareness of our employees and communities to use less plastic or recycle as much as we can to decrease plastic dumping in the ocean.
On this occasion, our team in Guayaquil – Ecuador organized schools visit. They taught children and students about the great role that the oceans play in our lives. They also explained the importance of reducing the use of plastic in our activities thus contributing to save our planet.

This local initiative contributes actively to local communities' development which is part of our CRS program.
- contributing to the clean up of seasides or rivers by collecting waste. Similar actions are already planned to take place in Costa Rica, Thailand and France in the coming months.
